I have been on dA for ages and have never written one of these journals things, isnt that sad! So yeah... I recently read all my boyfriends journals in one go... he spoke about his life and things that were going on in his life at the time... It felt weird to read the words of a person I didn't know at the time. Like reading the words that came from a different time zone. He seemed different through his writing than he does now, but this is an assumption on my part, due to the fact that it's easy to paint a picture through words, whether it be accurate or not.
I use ellipsis too much.
So yes, some made me laugh, others made me sad that I havent always known him. Because I think I would have liked the person he was then, and would have enjoyed the things he got up to then, just as much as I do now. It was strange to read about places I had been to so often before, knowing we might have been there at the same time. It's weird that we never met before, when we may have looked each other right in the face across a crowded room many times before. Perhaps we had some life to live before we could truly appreciate each other. Here's to making memories.
